Originally from Jamaica, my parents moved to Miami, FL, when I was four. Tired of school and parents, I signed my life away to the U. S. Air Force when I was 17. Unbeknownst to me at the time, I would start boot camp on September 2, 1998, a day I would never forget--my birthday!

 

Upon entering the Air Force, I knew I had my choice of medical careers. I thought I would work in the medical field until retirement. But after several years of assisting in surgical trauma, I decided to change career paths. I was uncertain and yearned for guidance, but I let my heart be my guide. I moved to Tallahassee FL, where I attended school while continuing to work in the medical field.

 

My zeal to help people never waned as I searched for a career that would allow me to help people, but in a more controlled environment. I wanted flexibility, no midnight shifts, and most of all, no call!

 

After graduation, I applied to be a Financial Representative with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. This career was everything I wanted. No call, no midnight shifts, and flexibility. But most importantly, it allowed me to do what I love, help people.

 

I am proud to represent Northwestern Mutual!
